Among these standout locations, Hue, Vietnam, has earned prominent recognition for its celebrated imperial gastronomy and deep-rooted cultural identity.

Phu Quoc has emerged as the sole representative from Vietnam to feature in the Top 10 trending resort islands for 2026, as announced by the global online travel platform Expedia. According to Expedia's Island Hot List 2026, Phu Quoc Island (An Giang) ranked 9th among the world's top 10 standout island destinations for the year.

Digital travel platform Agoda has revealed that accommodation searches from China increased by 164% year-on-year, showing the strongest search growth among inbound markets to Vietnam during the first five months of 2026.
